Trial terms & privacy

Dearkeeper’s free early trial is for adults aged 18 and over. It offers private story storage, photographs and voice recordings. There is no public library, family sharing, AI processing, payment or promise of permanent storage in this release. Trial functions may change; keep your own copies of important memories.

Your email identifies your account and is not verified during this trial. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. We use a necessary sign-in cookie; no advertising or analytics cookies are used. Content and account data are hosted using Cloudflare services and are not sent to an AI provider. Privacy means access is restricted to your account; this is not end-to-end encryption or a legal document vault. Do not upload identity documents, financial records, medical records or other sensitive documents.

Only upload content you are entitled to use. Ask permission from identifiable people in photographs and recordings, and from a parent or guardian for children. You can download written stories, download individual media files, delete stories or delete your account. Deleted stories become inaccessible immediately; scheduled storage cleanup runs daily. Infrastructure backups may retain data for their configured recovery period. Contact info@dearkeeper.com with access, correction, removal or trial questions.

Keep your recovery code safe: it can reset your password. Email recovery is not yet available. This trial is provided for feedback without any purchase commitment. Nothing here limits your statutory rights. Notice version: 10 October 2026.
